I don't know when this record was recorded. There is considerable background noise on the recordings which suggest it could be the 1950s or older. All the tracks are not more than about 3 1/2 minutes long, which might be a clue that it was recorded in the 78rpm era. The sleeve notes mention that Wei Zhongle made a tour of the USA in 1937, so assuming it is writing about something which happened not too long ago (from the time of the original release of the LP), I would guess the 1940s for the recording date and maybe the 1950s for the LP.
